I had visits from friends and family which was great. I love to talk!!!
Julian (our Vicar) came and prayed with us and read this psalm
I lift up my eyes to the hills—
where does my help come from?
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The LORD watches over you—
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
7 The LORD will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. Psalm 121
It is wonderful to think that when I am awake God is awake too watching over me. My sleep hasn't got worse over the last week which is wonderful. I still wake 2 or 3 times but go back to sleep again. It would be lovely to sleep all night - maybe chemo will help!!!
It is quite early now and the house is still sleeping. I can hear the birds singing and the sun is shining - promises of a good day to come. I am going for an ultrasound of my tummy today so can't eat before hand. So of course all I can think about is eating!! I am praying all will be well.
Josh is coming home for the weekend which will be lovely. I am looking forward to hearing all about his adventures in Bulgaria where he has been on a mission recently.
Enough of my ramblings!
