The works of his hands are faithful and just;
    all his precepts are trustworthy.
They are established for ever and ever,
    enacted in faithfulness and uprightness. Psalm 111v 7-8

This is the God we pray to - he is faithful, just, trustworthy and upright. He is and was and is to come. He is good all the time.

Last day of term for many of you. I can hear you drawing a huge sigh of relief and then a deep breath as you think of 6 weeks of children home! I have always loved the holidays - my children are real home birds and have loved being at home. It is so lovely seeing Ben relax (he broke up on Tuesday) and he is so chatty. Next week he has work experience in London which will be an exciting experience - we hope!

Today I am flower arranging, sorting (oh it is taking me a long time to sort as I get so distracted by the things we are sorting which need reading and memories discussing), knitting, Tour de France and golf watching. Ed has introduced me first to the Tour and now to golf. I have really enjoyed watching the cycling - not sure golf is my thing.

I am very happy to see the sunshine - looks like a good weekend ahead. I hope you all have great plans.
