We are nearly there - 2 days to go. I feel very lucky to be able to block out this time to watch the Olympics. I now also have the opportunity of going to the road race on Sunday. Chloe and Ed have tickets to watch the road races at Boxhill on Saturday and Sunday. I am very tempted to try and go but there is a hill to climb and I don't do up!!!! We have decided to see how they find it on Saturday and make the decision then. But we are going to the rowing next Wednesday which will be very exciting. Josh and Debs are moving on Tuesday and then coming to stay here on Tuesday evening as we have to leave at 7 in the morning. Chloe and Ed will be staying too - so a full house. As you can imagine I have printed off all information regarding the rowers we will see - thankfully we are seeing some finals including the mens 8s which will be very exciting.

I am sorry for all those of you who read my blog and are not at all interested in the Olympics. I think you will find the next 2 weeks very boring!

Today I am off to help my friend sort, with a little trip to water the flowers in church. They will be very thirsty after this hot weather. I continue to sort boxes here as well. So many lovely memories  flooding back.

My leg is now much improved. Obviously just a pulled muscle. It is a nuisance to have to worry about such things but it comes with the diagnosis! In August I have renal and oncology reviews with their accompanying tests; blood tests and a mammogram. It has been really nice not going to the hospital for a while. I am also seeing my GP next week - we continue the search for the right balance of blood pressure tablets. I take 3 different tablets to control my blood pressure each with its own side effects. The balance is to control my blood pressure whilst causing the least side effects - something we haven't managed yet.
