Such a lovely lovely day yesterday with Kitty. We came back with lots of new projects for making. Amazingly we had just got into the hall and we met up with Sylvia - a friend who I hadn't seen for many, many, many years who had seen I was going to be there on my blog. There were thousands of people there so it was amazing that she saw me. I wished we had time to catch up rather than just a quick hello!
Today - usual Friday business.
Tomorrow we are off to London to see Swan Lake with Chloe and Ed - lovely.
SO very good to see you Anne.Had been "scanning" the crowd just in case. We did a Chinese painting session and pastels again (as last year) Would have been nice to catch up for longer. You did well - long way to travel. Quick journey up the motorway for us. Enjoy Swan Lake.
ReplyDeleteIt is quite straightforward journey - we let the train take the strain! Train from Reading to Birmingham. Thankfully Paul had booked me a seat as it was a very busy train. Did you book sessions beforehand? We bought lovely craft projects to try out and are now going to have a making day together - lovely
ReplyDeleteNo we hadn't booked sessions for the official demonstrations. We just slotted into the demonstrations around the hall. Usually on the hour or half hour ,you can just sit round a table and have a go. Glad you have some new projects. So much choice there for craft. Didn't realise you can get to Reading from Birmingham. At the moment, Pat and Nigel and Martin and I drive half-way to Bicester to meet up.
