First injection at home today to increase my white cells, Chloe did a great job. Good practice for September and real patients! Also waiting for visit from district nurse to dress my PIC line - a Monday happening now. It is hard to escape from being a patient with all this happening. I have to plan my moments!
Watching my friends daughter leave for her wedding yesterday was one of those moments. The sun had come out and she looked so beautiful - ready and excited for her new life. What a privilege to be a witness to the start of a partnership.
Oh I missed you being a part of HBC! I had a great day. Very hot and sticky, and less able to get up and down from the ground year on year, but great nevertheless. We had 11 5-6 years olds between Kester and I, mostly just turned 5 and several never been to HBC before. i chatted with several children who had never heard about Jesus turning the water into wine before, so we had lovely conversations. The children were all so well behaved. David has done a brilliant job arranging it all. We really value your prayers. Our passage for tomorrow is John 3:16-21 and the theme is about too dirty to get into his party but he has come to sort it out. Hope the dialysis goes well tomorrow, better than well actually. Love you xxx
